why is my 7afte not making enough power at the top? i just finished the break in period after rebuilding the engine. when I floored the accelerator the rpm raise quickly and accelerates fast but when it reach 5000 rpm it doesnt accelerate fast enough you can see the tachometer needle slowing upto 6000rpm and the car slows downs. it seems the car doesnt have top end power. what could be wrong with my car? Ive already change my exhaust pipe to 2.5 inches

Even with the economical design, it should not bog down up top. A lot of people back home are running low 11s - high 10s on 1.8 economy engines, like Mazdas and Kias, so it's not the design...something is wrong with your setup. Mine is automatic, not tuned, big compressor, and it pulls hard all the way to the redline.
