So i had a leak and am trying to replace the seal. the passenger driveaxel is off and im at attempting to remove to old seal but can quite get to it. there is a piece of metal in the way. can anyone who has done this please help me asap??

Just take a good flat screwdriver and start working ur way around the seal. Shove the screwdriver into the hole and slowly pry it out. Don't worry cause the whole thing is part metal and hard plastic. youre exactly right, the aftermarket seal is all plastic so i was confused but now i know that the factory ones are part metal. thanks for the help everyone. |
