I got the button to work but only when the key is in the ignition and turned to the ON position. Is there a way to wire it so that I don't the key at all? Also, how do I shut the engine off without using the key?

yes i was about to say the steering wheel lock would pose a problem. but you can just break it with a little force. that's what theives do. it's just either a thin metal rod or a plastic ron inside the steering column shaft that works with the keylock cylinder. just see if you can take of the key cylinder and you should be able to see it.
