I'm seriously so depressed. I recently changed my head because of a small crack under the pressure switch, all new gaskets and whatnot. I wasnt around but i guess when my dad was putting in the head gasket he folded it over, so he flattened it out and just put everything back together. well im pretty sure that lead to the oil leak, that lead to the head gasket blowing, that lead to the gaping hole that was blown through my block when the rod busted out! I would post pictures but im really not sure how. So all im really looking for is sympathy and maybe some info on a 3sge engine for a swap, might as well right? anyone know any cheap sellers? Dont have much flow after christmas shopping.

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

sorry to hear. You should be able to pick up an entire 5sfe long block from a junk yard for a couple hundred bucks. If you want an upgrade, I suggest a 3sgte.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
