hello boys
i have a 98 jmd celica ss3 and i have a big problem and i am wondering if you can help me basically when my car reaches its normal temperature and i am stopped in traffic lights the rmp is going up and down and after few seconds my engine turns off itself did anobody have the same problem before? -------------------- ![]() |

Well it is the mass air flow sensor. I am pretty sure your engine has a mass air pressure (MAP) sensor. I was just drawing the conclusion that if the mass air flow inpacts the race car much like the symptoms you describe it is possible the air temp sensor is doing the same. Or maybe the MAP sensor. If your friend has an air temp sensor you can use to test, I would do that first and see what happens.
