I had the idea while driving on a Tulsa freeway a couple months ago when I rolled up on a Continental GT. I saw one again today in a commercial for Unique Whips which reminded me of the idea.
I think I'm going to install a third brake light mounted across the top of the hatch window, but I think I'll put mine on the inside of the glass. I'll mount it directly to the upper portion of the plastic hatch cover. Here's a pic of the third brake light on the Continental GT: ![]() Opinions? -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

Thats how my 1992 Passat's rear brake light was, I personaly hate the 3rd brake light and legally speaking you only have too have 2, so mine will be shaved once I get some time todo the body work. With doing it with LEDs (if you choose) they would be pretty bright and even tho its legal you might get pulled over.
