Unfortunately, I'm not so sure I'm going to be keeping my 99 GT for more than a few more months. I've only had it since July and LOVE the car, but there's a couple little nuances about it that just get me. Mainly, and don't take this the wrong way people, with how flipping slow it is. Drives me insane. I love how it drives and looks, but the complete lack of power is killing me.
What started this you ask?? Money........or rather the fact that we're doing very well right now and I've recently come to the realization that I can afford something I've always wanted. Unfortunately, that means getting rid of the Celica as there's no reason for 5 cars. It's not set in stone yet, but just a few days ago I took the other car for a test drive and absolutely fell in love. More to come, and if it does happen it's going to be a few months down the road still, probably around late spring to even the fall depending on what I find and what I feel like. Please don't hate me!!!!!! ![]() -------------------- |

I say go for it. I love my Celica for what it is, a compromise. It's a compromise for me between the family sedan and a true sports car. If you can afford what you want and don't need it to fill any other roles (like school bus) then do it. You'll be happier in the end having something that performs the way you want it too without any monkeying around with it.
