http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Toyota/PDF/869009.pdf

im trying to hook up an alpine head unti on my 98 with factory amp. i already made up a harness that goes from the alpine to 2 plugs. it says its for 87 and up toyotas.

i took out the oem head unit, only to find 1 white plug going to the back of it. then i traced that plug down to a blue plug that connects to the left side of the amp. then behind that plug is a white plug (left side of the amp), that im guessing leads to the spearkers of the car. problem is, my new harness dosnt mate up to any of those plugs?

reading through that pdf, they say something about there being a blue plug UNDER the amp? is it possible that i disconeected the 2 plugs of the left of the amp for nothing, and there is a 3rd blue plug under it that i missed? or do i have the wrong harness ?

nevermind...figured it out. there is another plug UNDER the amp. it leads to the white plug to the side of the amp . so i had the right idea, just didnt know the white plug mated up to a blue one with the right connection on it UNDER the stock amp
