Hi all,
Well, I'm missing my jack. I have been for quite awhile. Obviously, it'd be nice to have a jack if you had a flat. Has anyone actually had a flat and not been able to get a jack under their car? I have a 1.75" drop and stock 15" alloys. Any help/information/good jack links/ideas would be appreciated. And if you have a jack that you've pulled from a car you've parted out, I might just buy it if I get favorable responses that it might work. Oh BTW, ground clearance at front lift point is . . . about 4 3/4", IIRC. Are lowered cars are like Ferraris: you just get a special tow truck if they break down? -------------------- |

It sucks not to have a jack, but you can buy one for cheap at your local Auto store.
P.S I stop jacking from the sides and actually jack from underneath the engine frame or the rear crossmember. Then I take a jack stand and stand them at the sides. Its not that hard. |
