you know how there is a little stock amplifier just beneath the climate control, so I learned I had to pull out the harness from there in order to connect an aftermarket player. However, my factory subs on the door does not have sound. Was there another harness connected to the amplifier that is actually for the subs? Confused.

You are correct. The amp below the seat is for the subs. If you want to still use the factory amps you need to get the integration harness from Metra to do so. Otherwise you can get another amp to run the subs like I did. Do a search to find the model number for the Metra harness if you want to go that route. If you have the time you could also try and figure the pin outs for the whole 8 speaker system and wire one of the amps to run the subs.
