i was driving on a highway (I-90 for those who may know) and it was raining outside. i was going about 75mph and i keep noticing the car's rear end keeps sliding out. i had three other people in my car. then all the sudden i see everything moving slow like i'm gonna dye or something. then what do you know, all the sudden i start spinning out. i spun about three times and i was just waiting for the disguisting sound when the car's body meets the wall but luckly i barely missed the wall and went into the ditch that seperates the east and west highway. i could say i'm very very lucky that nobody got hurt and the car was scratchless. everyone was calm except for one moron.
my two guy buds helped me pushed the car out of the ditch and get back on the road. it seems like all my tires were tredless. so i had no traction what so ever. so our ski trip becomes cancelled and i go get me some new tires and head home. it was one crazy day. i felt sorry for them for dealing with me. -------------------- PROJECT 6TH GEN

QUOTE(creis @ Jan 2, 2006 - 8:01 PM) yup very very lucky nobody got hurt, including the car. what exacly happend, cars dont just start spinning even with no tread, did you hydroplane? i guess i did hydroplane. theres nothing really anything else that could happen. QUOTE(Celicav @ Jan 2, 2006 - 9:50 PM) Sorry to hear that. Glad it was not worse. Did you slow down when you started noticing the back end sliding? i let off the acceleration but no brakes. QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Jan 2, 2006 - 10:20 PM) It seems strange, especially with all the people in the back, that weight alone I assume should hold the back wheels to the ground, but even then.. its FWD, rear ends sliding out on a FWD car is near impossible, but if it had bad tires I guess it could have. I don't know. glad to hear everyone/thing is okay. the front tires were pretty bad too. expessially on one side. < i think thats why it pulled to one side causing the car to start spinning.
