The new GR series engines are quite nice... and that particular one (2GRFE)... is dual vvti and chain driven. Just in case for those who haven't opened up any of the newer chain driven FE heads (ZZ series, GR series)... they are true dual cam heads with two cam gears, however the heads still retain the narrow angle design along with the dished pistons and shallow combustion chambers.
Now if only Toyota, or Lexus or whoever is deciding things... would make a 6 speed manual IS350... they're only shooting themselves in the foot. I don't care if it's AWD or RWD... let there be a 6 speed manual option with the 3.5 liter. C'mon now... I do sincerely hope they make a coupe version though... not just concepts... and let it have a fricken manual tranny with the 3.5 too... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
