I'm looking at buying 18"s rims, but Im worried about what sort of things I should be wary of. What is the driveability of 18"s like? Is safety an issue, ie. the lack of sidewall, expense and availability of decent tyres. Also, ride quality, will I really feel every bump in the road, etc? Am i better of going 17"s?

I would def. not recommend the 35mm tires as I hate mine. yea 35mm is really annoying. if you go for 40mm your overall diameter will be bigger and your speedometer will be off. Just so you guys know, the 35 and 40 readings for the sidewall height are not in MM. Those are in terms of percentage of the overall tire width. So a 215/35 tire is 215 MM wide with the sidewall height being 35% of that 215, or 75.25 MM. It's a common misconception. -------------------- |
