Ok so i want to buy a complete turbo kit. The kit includes everything i need for the swap. The turbo is a ct26 with a front mount intercooler. Now my question is to you people, how much psi can the 5sfe withstand without detonation? I dont want to push it to the limit, but i want to make sure that i can run the 5sfe safetly at higher psi. The psi i am thinking of is maybe 10-14? if that is to high let me know. Thanks.

a stock 5s i think its around 13 psi it can handle before failer ...
no if you rip that baby apart and rebulid it for boost you will be able to handle 14psi with no problem ..but at that point you will have spent more then you would have if you swapped... but you will also have a street legal car also ... -------------------- |
