 DSL Thieves, How do you stop em? |

I recently learned that a nieghbor has been using my dsl to acess the web.
 Is there a cheap easy way to stop this. I have heard this slows me down is this true? I live in an apartment so there may be more. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

What Mr. E said is correct, imo. WEP is good enough to keep casual individuals from stealing your bandwidth, but it is easy to acquire a packet sniffer. After that, it is only a matter of time until your key is compromised. Any MAC address utilizing the network is also transmitted via packets, that can be filtered and spoofed pretty simply if the invader has the right hardware and/or software.
