Im going to get some foglights for my celica, but i cant decide between white or yellow.
Im leaning towards a set of Raybrig R1300 yellows, (it even comes with a wireless switch), but the PIAAs look cool too. |

Yellow works ten times better for foggy conditions. Ever turn on your brights in the fog? That's almost what it's like having white fogs. If you just want to look cool, go with white. If you want lights that actually do what they are meant to do.. go with yellow.
PS- All of this "omg that _____ is so JDM hot!!!" stuff is getting old. fast. |

Yellow lights help the driver see marginally better in the fog. The thing that makes the biggest difference is the light pattern. True fog lights have a different pattern. The white PIAA lights (and others) are actually "driving" lights - not fog lights. So, if you get those, they won't be a good as the yellows. There are true white fogs out there that will perform very well. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
