I got my first one my junior year of high school (2001-2002), it was a 94 ST with 43,000 miles on it, picked it up for $7200. Loved the looks, the way it drove, everything about it. A year and 15,000 miles later it was hit by a drunk driver (I was stopped at a red light, he hit us from behind doin like 60, pushed us out in the intersection, etc. Car was GONE). Got about $9000 from insurance and couldn't find another Celica, so I bought a Mustang. Sold the Mustang, bought a Prelude in summer 2003, hated it, sold it in March of 2005 and just by luck found my Celica within the same day.
1994 GT, bought with 117,000 miles for $4300. Some say the price was high, some say it was low, either way I love the car and think it was a great buy. Celicas are one of the few cars I've driven that I feel "in tune" with, like I know exactly what the car is doing, going to do, where it's going, etc. It's that kind of driving experience that has kept me hooked -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
