 Sticky gas pedal, makes taking off from a stop a pain in the arse |

Sometimes my gas pedal can be kinda hard to press. It usually only happens when I'm taking off from a complete stop. I try to press lightly for a smooth take-off but nothing happens so I have to press harder and then the gas pedal finally gives and my engine revs making me look like an idiot that doesnt know how to drive stick. The pedal itself seems to be fine so I'm thinking it might be the throttle cable. What do you guys think?

Pull the intake off an check the butterfly. I'd suggest that it's sticking a little.
Spray oil and and a rag to clean it up and see if that helps. -------------------- JDM ST205
