I build custom computers as a part time job..sometimes these things involve watercooling with 1/2od piping and thermal electric cooling using a peltier unit and external powersupply...a peltier is a square wafer that comes in different wattages...when power is run through the peltier, it amplifies the difference in temperature between the two sides...so on a water cooling system u can place a waterblock on the hot side of the wafer apply wattage and the cold side will be DRASTICALLY colder than the waterblock normally under freezing temperatures...peltiers are common in drink machines and other industrial type machinary to cool water circuits as well (kind of like a radiator that runs off electricity)....check out this peltier from swiftech cooling this is basically the same idea except it actually cools the water that runs through it unlike a cpu application cooler.....now if this was applied to the 3rd generation 3sgte water - air intercooler what would the effects be?????

i donno...the results on that search were for spraying cold water through the intercooler thats a totally different deal then using a swiftech circuit cooler...its a waterblock with pelitiers facing backwards to actually cool its self so the freezing block cools water as it passes through which should be alot more effective than the method shown in the search...there is absolutely no way that it could not be effective in cooling power...there are industrial type peltiers as well that were developed by nasa for the exact same things which are cheap now for drink machines in such..if i had a water to air intercooler i would def try this...u could just attach it in the middle of a water return line and place the powersupply somewhere on the engine bay and run it off the battery..draws less power than a sub amp
