i have a buddy who has an engine out of an MR2 i havent found out all the details yet but as soon as i do i will post them. do u guys think the swap will work with my celi? the MR2 motor is also a 4 cy 2.2 l same as my 5sfe. has anyone done this? also if you do an engine swap do u have to have the car inspected or does it have to pass any test? i

It's just a different 2.2 5sfe. As long as it's OBD1, which it is. If it's because it's less miles, then that's a reason, but not that good of one. I have 143k on my 5sfe, and all I need to do is put a new disstributer and plug wires on it soon. Same thing you'll have to do with a 40k motor in a bit. Are you planning on putting a turbo on a low milage 5sfe? No one is ever happy with there 5sfe turbo for every long. It's a baby set on the performance ladder.
