For those of you who have swapped your 7A out and a 3s in. Do you still have power steering? Did you have to make some custom fittings to work, or did the fittings that come on the 3sgte engine work with USDM rack and pinion?

It doesn't vibrate during normal driving it vibrates when I let the clutch out when I first take off or when I step on the gas fairly hard. I don't think the pulleys are hitting the frame, because they are not that close to the frame and there are no rub marks on my pulleys or frame. Anyway with the rear mount filled with poly, the engine doesn't budge.
bboy which pulley was hitting? If its your ps pully, thats not my problem right now because I don't even have my pump on the car. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be rubber spacers in between the cross member and where it bolts to the frame? |
