kindasad.gif hello everyone, I hope this is the right place to ask this question. But do they make shift kits for the 6 gen celi's. I looked on parts database but did not see any. I'm still in the process of learning how to drive stick, so I had hope for the mean time to place a shift kit on my automatic toyota celica.

You need to tear down the transmition for what I'm thinking off. Well, maybe not break it down, but at least open it. You can resize certan holes to increase pressure to handle higher hp and torque, and decrease time between shifts. I know desiel guys are doing this. Is that what you talking about? Or are you talking about the drag style flip lever that you just press forward or back to go up a gear? I don't know how you would mount that in a Celica, but I'm sure there's a way. This would be a nice thing to have for you auto guys. I probably would have tried to make one by now if I had an auto.

EDIT: This belongs in regular engine discussion. There's no turbo on your car, and even if there was, it's still the stock GT transmition. Isn't it?
