obviously some newer cars have larger wheels, some are 17inch and they don't have low profile tires. Is there anyway I can put non-low-profile tires on my 17 inch motegis? Can I have the speedometer adjusted to compensate for the added diameter? I want more or a sidewall, and I actually like the look of taller wheels.

Why do you care so much that your speedometer wont be accurate anymore. You can easily figure out how much your speedometer will be affected. So when ur speedometer will say 100km/h you will know that you are going 102 or 103 for example. Id get like 225/45/17 and dont worry about your speedometer.
