whats the deal with these myspace msgs? Options

every few weeks i get a msg from some totally hot girl that says how she just moved her or some crap and that i should email or IM her at another address.

whats the deal with these? i mean, do they spam the crap out of you when you send an email ? what about the IM, virus? its pretty easy to figure out the msgs are a scam, but i just dont understand what the point is?

I will let you know that she is cool as hell and gets pretty crazy at times in a fun way. to be honest i used to have a crush on her myself but its too weird now. she said she was shy or something to be the first one to initiate talk but she even posted a blog about ya or something

i checked out her profile and she's from hollywood cali.... so im like WTF.... how's she gonna be findin my profile.... newayz ... just wanted to see if this was spose to be some kind of scam or something - cuz im kind of gullible... lol
