I have had my car sit for about 3 months now, and just recently when i started it, it would run fine. I just cleaned the distributer cap and rotor, and replaced spark plugs (Bosch). What is happening is when i snap the throttle it bogs for a sec and then revs up, and there is an occcational back fire. My timing is set at 10 degrees BTDC. Also when the car is running i pull a spark plug wire to listen to the engine and for a spark. Every cylinder is fireing. What could the problem be, plz help!!

when you set your timing did you use a jumper on your diagnostic port?
what is your gap set at? Also just a thought did you have oil inside the distributor cap when you cleaned it because on my car the O-ring to the distributor was leaking oil into it and causing similar probrems then as I revved higher it went away? probably not that but just a thought -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!
