alright. im using the stock 5s tranny. on the 3s.
the 5s pressure plate is slightly smaller than the 3s. same with the clutch disk. so i guess from what i read. i use a 3s pressure plate (duh) with a 5s clutch disk. so how do i go about getting this combo? i was thinking to save money i could use the stock 3s pressure plate with an aftermarket 5s disk. so all i would have to buy is the disc. any thoughts? -------------------- |

if u mix and match used and old...your just asking for trouble. you cant half ass this like your 5sfTe..lol
if u call up a place like spec, they can make you a custom 3sgte disk (the correct diamiter for the flywheel) but with the splines for the 5sfe tranny. then get the 3sgte PP, and the 5sfe TO bearing and alignment tool. STAY AWAY from a 4puck. it will make driving a horror. the act 6 puck is ok, but it dosnt have any springs. its not going to be as fun to drive as something like a sprung 6 puck spec. dont go any higher then a sprung 6 puck. a spec stage 2 or 3 is what u want if you dont have the money to do it right, borrow some from mom This post has been edited by lagos: Jan 17, 2006 - 5:46 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
