I just came back from seeing 2f2f. They had SOOO many tight a$$ cars. The SKYLINE and the SUPRA kicks A$$. Well i dont really know how to rate the plot, b/c i really just wanted to see the cars and races. So i was satisfied w/ that. Except that they didnt show the SKYLINE enough

Ok the REAL reason i posted this thread is b/c i want to know HOW IN THE WORLD THEY MADE FLAMES COME OUT OF THE EXAUST??? Not like F&F just as they rev'd up, but throught out an enitre race??? I liked that

hehehe flames out the tailpipes. My dad told me how he riged a freind's car in the 60's to do that. He took a couple pipes slighlty larger than the exhaust an mounted them around the exits of the pipes. He tapped the pipes to take a spark plug and mounted that and used a device that he said 'buzzed' (make and break contact quickly) to supply a spark to the plugs. This only worked because it was on a 427 with dual holleys that was running really rich, thus the large amount of unburn fuel and no cats... the extra oxygen added through the gaps around the pipe that was at the tail of the car. Oxygen + fuel + spark = flame.

Problem with any modern car is that unburnt fuel does not leave the tailpipe, damn efficiency!!! You would have to provide the fuel. I have seen some kits that do this, but if you want to do it yourself you could put a couple tanks of butane in the trunk and run some lines down to the tailpipes. You would have to ignite it somehow with an autoigniter from a bar-b-q maybe, hehehe. Sorry I can't even type this without laughing. It would be so Ghetto...
