 just a question about fuel pumps |

I was wondering....arent the wires and plugs, from the fuel pump all in the same tank???
I mean, doesnt it have to be seperate, due to the electricity and the gas, which can cause an explosion? And what about when you swap out your pump for the supra pump when you turbo your car, whats the proper way to re-wire it? idk.....my mind was wandering This post has been edited by celicaGT96: Jan 17, 2006 - 11:19 PM |

gas is a fairly poor conductor especially at low voltage (around 12v).
