Ok OK I know I could just dremel right through the little bastard, I would prefer not. I probably have caused enough damage already to *@^&#@*@ the alternator but why not make it a learning experience. So how do I get the bugger off with just the usual tools, no special bearing puller?

take it down to a shop and have them press it off properly, it takes all of about one minute to do with the proper tools.
