when i launch my car @ 3500rpms when i try to get second it is not there ...., then when i shift i get third , but when then there is fourth neither is reverse !!. wat could lead to this ? and has anyone ever had that problem

Short shift kit will not solve your problem, when you are having problems with such arrangement of gears its most probably your gear cable clip being bent of broken and letting the cable slide a bit. Short shifter will only make it feel like your problem is fixed untill that clip totally falls off, making your way home possible on only second and fourth gear...
