Ok i originally went to ToySport to do the 2nd gen. 3sgte swap for me but i had to change my mind and have someone else do it. Here are the reasons why I didnt nor should anyone else go w/ ToySport for the swap. Well unless you have the money. BUt I do know it will be done right (IN THE 2 WEEKS+ THEY HAVE YOUR CAR).
misc gasket 120.00 timing belt 35.15 tensioner 81.65 idler 48.53 water pump 77.00 thermostat 18.63 oil filter 4.91 fuel filter 30.18 wire set 72.27 cap 37.80 rotor 5.54 Iridium plugs 80.00 Alt. Belt 11.26 PS Belt 14.25 AC Belt 17.95 Hose 11.25 Hose 18.25 service lubricants 80.00 ???? whats this??? do they really need to add this?? throw out bearing 38.00 pilot bearing 12.00 new parts $734.62 (I think it should be a lot less) Used parts $3,700 (engine $2,700 ALONE, ecu, relays, sensors, airflow meter, misc. hoses) LABOR $1,780.00 (Hell NO!!) Pretty much IMO everything i think is way over priced. Its like you have EVERYTHING SHIPPED to you plus tax. Well those are just my 2 cents. DUCE p.s are all those the new parts i have to get for the swap? |
