Recently, my voltage regulator, which is built into the alternator went bad and would drain my battery when parked. I bought a used alternator off of FAQdaWorld and had it installed. That solved the problem. The car worked great, and this was Friday when I picked it up.

Yesterday I pulled my car into my garage to detail the interior. I was wary about leaving my doors open and draining the battery because I've been having electrical problems, so I hooked up my battery charger to the car. While detailing the car, I had the key in the "ON" position because I wanted to listen to the stereo, and the car would beep in ACC with the doors open. After a while the stereo shut off.

When the key is in "ACC" everything works fine inside. When I turn the key to "ON" the clock and dash lights dim. When I turn the key to "START" the starter clicks. I doubt the problem is the starter, because I just replaced it last month with a used one with a warranty.

I even tried jump-starting the car, even though the battery seems fine and holds a charge. I pulled a few important fuses and all seems fine.

Thanks,
