hey guys
i just received my 2 alpine type R 10" 4ohm subs today, and i would like to know how can i wire them into a 2 ohm load. both with one jumpering the terminals and using 2 subs off 1 amp. is it possible the guide they sent me with them has only a 4 ohm loan and a 1 ohm load? and if not possible, can u make it a 1 ohm load when the amp does not have a 1 ohm setting? or am i just on crack all together>?

Depends on the subs. you don't really want to get low powered subs and hook it up to high powered ones. you'd really want to match the subs with the amp. One way you could do it is by going to the manufacturer's website. They should have a chart or a diagram that shows where the sub will be rated with the amp as underpowered sub or most efficient or over ampage is not a good idea, something like that.
