I actually went down from a 225/50 on my wheels. My overall tire diameter is closer to stock and the car doesn't roll onto the sidewalls like it did with the taller tires. Imo, if you want to run 225/50 you should use a 7.5" wheel. I wish I had gotten a wider wheel when I bought these ages ago. I will be changing my suspension soon, which will make my car fill the wheel arches a bit more. I think I will take a profile pic later today, it might be helpful.
