I have a ricer question, ...no really Options

I was just thinking, what is is that makes a car sound so crappy, like really the fart can mufflers.
I know of alot of cars that are fast as hell, and have all these mods, and they just sound soo ugly.
I mean its pretty common you see, or hear a honda fartin around your neighborhood, but if Im not mistaken our cars dont sound that way, and I have heard with many diff types of mufflers and exhausts.
Is there a certain cause for that sound....even some cars with good brand exhaust systems just dont sound right.
Im in the turboing process for my gt, and Im trying to avoid farts at all cost....lol

A nice, long resonator will help give the exhaust note a much deeper tone. That's about all I know

The best way to get a better exhaust note, of course, is to swap in a V6 or V8.
