How much can it realistically take without a bottom end build/head work??? Reason I ask is because when I do inevitably do the swap, I'd like to work on building the motor to the 300WHP range.
How much boost and power can a GenII 3S take??? -------------------- |

yah hydes car is crazy...mad power to that bada$$ car. i think his motor also has 180k mile or something and he's still making that much power? someone correct me if im wrong. the 2nd gen 3sgte can take all the way to 400whp stock motor...or so i've heard from various mr2 owners in my area. theres a guy i know south of me whose making 340rwhp on his mr2 reliably (daily driven) for years with turbo upgrade and some kind of standalone (i cant remember which 1). hes also over at the mr2oc site. check that place out...alot of good info. for 300whp the stock motor can take it and dish out more
here...read up! that is your 3sgte bible when u finally get one under your hood. good luck! bboy -------------------- ![]() ..(formerly daily driven) 3S-GTE powered celica currently set @ 12psi.. |
