im excited, got a job on a NASCAR racing team! we race late model and protruck classes and the races begin in march. were in division 3 of the NASCAR dodge weekly series and are going to be racing here at the colorado national speedway CNS. going to get a jumpsuit, headset and everything smile.gif never thought id be a nascar fan tongue.gif but im so excited to work around these cars. around 650hp and 2900lb w/driver for the late model car, oh yeaaa biggrin.gif beats waiting tables.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

we (my brother also got hired) went to the garage today and talked to steve johnson and explained to him what we were capable of and our experience. very nice guy, basically told us in the beginning were going to be doing basic grunt work, organizing garage, basic mechanics, cleaning cars, etc. and he also wants us to help with computer programs analyzing data. me and my brother are both mechanical engineering majors so this is just an awesome job for us. if anything, great for resume. but ya, nothing too exciting at first. im just excited to learn and have the opportunity to be in a NASCAR garage regardless. got the job by pure luck, either be starting next week or the following, ill take pictures next time i go.
