im trying to design me a sub box that will fit in the bank without removing the spare tire. wanted to do ported but was thinking with a slotted vent type. using the side walls and the back. if anybody has experiance designing sub boxes, PM me and i will send u the design i am thinking of if you cannot picture it.

Its not too hard, im building one right now...The hardest part is just figuring out what you want to do and saving space... Im building mine angling it towards the back but more towards the rear window.. Mine is going to be ported. It is very easy to screw up a ported box if you just guess at the size and length of the box though, so make sure you know the appropriate measurements. It really depends on the size of the sub, and there are certain sellers, like Crutchfield.com that tell you how much space should be in the box... Check em out.
