So from what i hear. In a magazine out they tested the cars and the 69 camaro was the fastest. They did so much to the skyline that it was slower than if you were to go buy it from japan right now!

Crazy

Most of you guys are missing the point with the Skyline. Like cragspider said the engine is fruqin bulletproof. A stock Skyline puts out 280ish cause of the agreement the Japanese car makers have to keep it under 280hp and most of you guys know that. By simply replacing the chip it will put out nearly 400hp. Its all about capabilities here guys, replace the turbo and the chip and your looking at nearly 600hp as a conservative estimate. Not to mention the insane onboard computer it has. If anyone is interested they should find the r34 test drive video done by Top Gear, kinda like the British Motor Trend or Car and Driver. The reporter shows off the Skyline's G meter by whipping the car like crazy, he also shows its other features. I dont know of any other production car that has had a diagnostics type computer like the Skyline does. You can hook your laptop right into the USB connection in the console and say, download your drive home from work...thats choice! The reasons why its awsome go on and on. Download that video its pretty nice. I just registered for this site and they might have it somewhere, lots of awsome car videos. http://www.racingflix.com

Didnt they have to lock out the rear differential too, for the drifting parts?

YEA THAT WEBSITE IS FUQING AWSOME!!!!!!!!! 'n free
