Does anyone out there know how to tweak the idle speed for the 5s-FE? I couldn't finish my emissions test because my idle speed was at 2200 rpm, I am trying to lower the value. Any expertise would be gladly appreciated.

Seafoam Engine cleaner. It removes carbon deposits. You pour 1/3 in your gas tank, 1/3 in your crankcase, and suck 1/3 in through a vacuum line. The car will stall, and when you start it up there will be ass loads of smoke. Let it idle for 10 mins, and when the smoke goes away, drive for about 200 miles then change your oil.
Edit: Try the seafoam before you mess with adjusting your cables, etc. This post has been edited by Cutrara: Feb 10, 2006 - 7:38 PM -------------------- |
