Does anyone out there know how to tweak the idle speed for the 5s-FE? I couldn't finish my emissions test because my idle speed was at 2200 rpm, I am trying to lower the value. Any expertise would be gladly appreciated.

Basics first before you get carried away rolleyes.gif . Sounds very much like there is an air leak somewhere in the system. A leaking vacuum hose etc will allow too much air into the intake side of the throttle body which will result in a high idle. Check all your hoses etc first.

i checked all of the vacuum hoses soo thats not it and also i tried giving some slack in the throttle cable i even tried doing the sea foam just half an hour ago and was wondering is it a good thing or bad thing that there was no smoke coming out of the exhaust because alot of people said there would be alot of smoke coming out, i just felt a little bit of power thats all
