um... I was just wondering... does anybody here have a TWM Short Shifter and use a TRD Leather Wrapped Ball Shift Knob?
When i twist the shift knob onto the thread part of the shifter, it doesn't cover the entire threaded part... it gets really tight by the time it's 3/4 covered... i don't wanna twist it anymore in case i ruin the thread on either part i dunno.. is something actually not right here or am i just incredibly retarded or something? here are pics of the knob and it's packaging: front of packaging  pack of packaging  knob + gear positions sticker  knob beside shifter

i measured it. i stuck a pen in the knob and it was the same length... when i look inside the knob the thread doesn't go all the way though... there is some empty space at the very inside and near the edge. then in the middle is the thread
