Why does it seem like front mount intercoolers are more popular these days?
I personally like Air to Water Intercoolers more, just because you can always dump in dry ice into the water and have a great intercooler efficency. Why don't more poeple use AWIC? What other car manuactures make AWIC other then the gt4? what's wrong with the cheap ebay ones? Ebay awic item #: 8036625491 can someone tell me a little more about AWIC systems? my other reason i like water to air intercoolers is because you can move more of the weight to the center of the car.
with the heavy turbo mounted on the exhaust manifold and then adding more pipes infront of the front axels. this makes the car too front heavy. My plans, if they ever happen, is to mount the battery and the water reservor in the back behind the back seats to help balance the car out. the W/A intercooler will be mounted right next to the firewall. |
