i was talking about fabricating or modifying the BRACKET for the caliper, not the disk or the lugs. i was looking for a cheap alternative to buying a brake kit for $700. i wanted the bigger disks for 75%looks as this is a daily driver. so thanks for the input. maybe i will try this mod when i get more money....but then i could probably buy a kit
by the way 99 and up pontiac grand ams are 5x100 and i know that for a FACT because i put my 17's on one

It's one of those things that if you haff to ask, you shouldn't be trying. It's way off. Get some experiance doing some minor projects before you jump into this one.
