 weird noise, 5th gear |

my 5th gear is makeing this weird winding whistleing noise all my other gears dont do it just my 5th gear. i think i might need gear oil or my gear is just going out...i dont know can one of you help??

Yup. ---/\ same thing happend to me exactlly. Actually, I kept driving it though, and then all of my gears started making that noise, working its way down to first. But before any other gears went, it just locked up on me. I would try changing the fluid though. It could prolong the life of the tranny if thats the case.
