hey i'm new on here, anyways i'd really like to know if the tranny that come with the gt will last with the esgte swap with the 225hp. i've been reading but i can really get a response. some say yes others no. i'd like some one 2 just tell me and help me out. thanks

well ive had my GT tranny on my 3sgte powered celi for some time now and havent had any problems so far. i'd say yes it can last with a stock-lightly modded 3sgte. on a moderately-highly modded 3sgte tho...i wouldnt risk it. another factor that plays a part of the tranny lasting would be driving habits. if a person who beats on 1st and 2nd gear then revs to say 7k rpm was behind the wheel, i doubt the tranny would last. lol
