Hello on my 94 celica 2.2 liter GT model I had to order a new thermostat from Napa.
-They sent me the right one according to there books but it is too big in diameter??? *THe parts guy told me the 1.8 liter has a slightly smaller thermostat so I ordered that one.... -I am wondering if it is common for the 2.2 liter and 1.8 liter to have the thermostats switched or in the wrong motor???? -Also I ordered a throwout bearing from Napa and it is too small in diameter to fit on the shaft so apparently there is a second option with a slightly larger inside diameter also listed for the celica.... *Does this sound correct? He said there was no difference in his books for a different throwout bearing on the 2.2 liter vs. the 1.8 liter... Anyone know what is going on with my part issuses?????? Thanks..... |
