i could be wrong but....i believe the solara drag cars us the 1mz....and i also believe a few of those hold tack records.....i dont think that its not a reliable or even a feasable power plant...i just believe it hasnt been done enough for anyone to really know all of the possibilities of the engine....i think as far as price goes ....it might be a little out of the range of most people...but if you can do the work yourself...it might cut the price down somewhat....i know here in town i can pic one of these engines up for like $300-500...which to me is a hell of a lot cheaper...and considering we have a fairly large mr2 group here as well the lsd wont be hard to pick up either....my questions are: what all trannys will bolt up to this engine....and what do the mr2 guys think of this swap...are they satisfied with the results they've gotten from this engine..if so.. it might be worth giving it a shot.
