Who here has powdercoated valve covers? I know of a few but who else? When I got to paint my car I'm gonna powder coat my valve cover but I'm not sure what colour to go with. Going with red would be nice if the exterior colour is a lighter tone (ie. my white) But if I do a darker exterior what would look better when the hood is lifted? It's not like i'm doing this this week (more like the next two months) so I have time to decide and check your opinions.

he isn't going to paint it and I doubt he has the powder-coating eqipment so I don't think he is doin it himself.
And as far as the powder-coating make sure they have a clean shop so you don't get any trash under the paint. also a couple more things.. 1. they "should" sand-blast it before coating it and make sure all the sand is off and/or out of it. 2. if they are only doing a small job make sure they clean out the spray gun very well if not you can get a blended in looking overspray after they cook it. -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!
