well about a week ago i hit another car. i was being stupid and not paying attention while in traffic and rolled into a 2002 white corolla while i was going about 5mph. it didnt do any damage to my car but it cracked the top of the corolla bumper on top about 3 inches long. so i said i didnt want to get it fixed through insurance because i dont want to deal with that. and she went and got an estimate and called me back and said it was going to cost $134 to replace the bumper. so i thought that was a great price and was happy. she called back today and said she made a mistake and its going to cost $586 now. now im depressed and mad. she wants to replace the bumper which costs $134 for the bumper and then the rest of the $586 for the painting and installation. that seems a little expensive to me. how much should a new bumper and paint cost?

QUOTE(Chanh55 @ Feb 24, 2006 - 1:16 AM) I say you do it yourself for her. Buy the bumper, get it painted somewhere (100 bucks earl scheib or something) and install it yourself. i dont think she would go for that. if somone hit my car, i would refuse for them to buy, paint, or install anything on my car. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
